Second, the battleground moves back to the US office for trademarks. Last year, the USPTO had agreed to suspend Autodesk's desperate dispute against Open Design Alliance and SolidWorks over d-w-g pending the outcome of the civil court action.
(I use the word "desperate," because Autodesk has no chance of getting ownership of .dwg due to reasons I explain in next Monday's upFront.eZine.)
Halting the civil court case before the jury could make a decision (heck, even hear the opening statements) means that the fight back to USPTO territory.
