Hello Ralph! Right spelling of Kompass is KOMPAS with one "s", and SAPR magazine is SAPR&Graphic magazine. See you in Moscow!

Hello Ralph! I would like if the next edition of The Future of MCAD Round Table could be here in Brazil! You should start thinking about a Round Table for Latin America here in Brazil. The MCAD business here is growing fast. Best Regards, Dan Bana, Raihsa - Siemens PLM Reseller

I'd be curious to know more about KOMPAS, how it compares to the mainstream competition (SW, SE, IV, Pro|E), what kernel does it use. I've visited Ascon's site, there's not much info. I tried to download the free KOMPAS-3D V9 LT, but my connexion timed out.

Norm C.! KOMPAS uses it's own mathematical kernel and parametric solver (both developing in Russia in our R&D). You can download demo or LT here (latest version is V10!): http://ascon.net/download/kompas/.

спасибо Oleg,
(I hope Google Translate got that right lol)

I thought the LT version had not been updated to V10, my mistake. I will give it another try.
