Building Design + Construction is reporting that Autodesk is shutting down further development of Constructware. But, writes Autodesk sr director of AEC simulation product line Rick Rundell, the BDC report is incorrect:
It is not true we are ending development of this product. In fact, we just released a new version of Constructware this week...
Three years ago, the company paid $46 million for Constructware. You can still sign up at the www.autodesk.com/constructware page.

“Autodesk, like other companies, has been evaluating its product portfolio and has had to make some difficult decisions,” says Tim Douglas, industry segment manager for construction, Autodesk. “And one of those decisions is to reduce the resources for Constructware.”
