Randall Newton has news on a Vancouver company (just 50 miles west of me) attempting to sell an AJAX CAD product for $2000. "AJAX" refers to interactive Web pages, like the kind you get with Google Maps. AfterCAD's doing it with CAD drawings. Read more at Ajax Comes to CAD.
Established CAD vendors can't see CAD working as a Web browser app, so we'll see whether these fellows are able to accomplish what the big boys can't.

we are a CAD services company and if CAD applications can run over the internet browsers... that would greatly help!
