It works to a point. The way Dassault has handled SolidWorks V6, as well as refusing to answer direct questions on the CGM kernel, has made a lot of people, myself included, very angry.

They're actually portraying themselves as the 3D Social Experience Company, or 3DSEX®

They have actually renamed their DSCC conference to some title that incorporates 3DEXPERIENCE. They still haven't gotten the message that all of the dollars we spend are in managing the data, not authoring it.
