The Single-Owner Job

Many CAD publications have a single owner and not too many employees. The pinch is the personality who launched and runs the ezine or blog. This was driven home by the news of TechniCom owner Ray Kurland dislocating his shoulder in May, effectively shutting down his publication until now.

He went back to work just two weeks ago, but then only part time. Recovery will take another several months. Fortunately, reports the right-handed Ray, the damage was to his left side. Still, the recovery process has damaged his publication schedule.
