PTC Acquires, Renames
NC Graphics
PTC continues to acquire companies on the periphery of CAD, this time CAM [computer aided manufacturing] software maker NC Graphics and its 15 employees located in England. Welcome to New England!
The software will be renamed Pro/TOOLMAKER and be available in three versions:
* Stand-alone
* Integrated into Pro/E
* Managed by Windchill
Not a PTC customer? No worries, mate: "Both NC Graphics and PTC are committed to openness and support for heterogeneous environments." Price of the acquisition was not announced.
