DS + ICEM

Dassault Systemes buys ICEM of England for e51.4 million cash (US$70 million). By comparison, Autodesk paid $182 million for Alias. ICEM produces automotive design software for Ford, VW, BMW, Porsche, PSA, Renault, and Nissan, as well as consumer goods.

Today Dassault reported its Q1 revenues were up 15% to e291 million (US$395 million -- or $1.6 billion on an annualized basis). Net income was e32.9 million euros.
