ADSK: Second Backdating Lawsuit

What's a successful World Press Day and subsequent $2-rise in share price without the depressing news of another lawsuit.

Statman, Harris & Eyrich launches a shareholder derivative complaint "on behalf of nominal defendant Autodesk and against certain past and present executive officers and directors of Autodesk."

The suit is over the undisclosed backdating of stock options between 1996 and 2006 that benefitted "certain" executives.

(The first to start proceedings was Keller Rohrback.)

of financials without, well financials
(as required by law) some of the shareholders including me are asking
