Deja Vu: Free Software from UGS

After UGS talked to me about releasing Solid Edge 2D free, something in the back of my mind told me that this was not the first time UGS had done this.

Digging through my collection of old software, I came across it: Solid Edge Origin 2D/3D from Unigraphics Solutions, the name of UGS before it was bought by EDS.

The CD is dated 1998, and offers the following:

- Free 2D drafting.
- Free basic 3D part modeling.
- interactive tutorials and multimedia demonstrations.
- AutoCAD interoperation.

Deja Vu: Free SW from UGS

Free "SW" I didn't know UGS was making Solidworks... nor giving it away for FREE!

I Think you meant SE as in Solid Edge!
