Revit Outships Inventor

Revit's ahead of Inventor and Civil 3D's nipping at the heels.

During its conference call [PDF file], Autodesk said that it shipped the following number of commercial seats for its primary 3D products:

* more than 15,000 of Revit.
* nearly 9,700 of Inventor.
* nearly 6,800 of Civil 3D.

(I wish I could ship 6,800 of anything!) Total seat count is now 592,600 for Inventor. Autodesk does not (yet) post historical data for Revit or Civil 3D. Sales of Architectural Desktop were not discussed, but historically have been strong.
