Free MEDUSA4 CAD for Linux

CAD Schroer Group is making its free MEDUSA4 CAD software available on Linux. The free version has limitations, naturally:

- different sheet format.
- watermarked print output.
- no export to DXF/DWG.
- no customization.
- providing your computer's MAC (the unique Media Access Control address associated with every network card.)
- reregistering every six months.

Positive features include:

+ basic 3D sheet-based modeling.
+ parametrics.
+ 2D drafting.
+ hidden line removal.
+ drilling table tolerances.

The software is also available free for computers that run Windows 2000/XP as their operating system.
