What's New? Solid Edge 17

When it ships, Solid Edge v17 from UGS adds these features:

* Evolve to 3D is a four-step transition for 2D users [called "traditional users"] to move to hybrid 2D/3D design. New is "apprentice mode" that helps new users [read: AutoCAD users] become familiar with Solid Edge.

* Massive assemblies get a 2x-10x boost wtih new copyright-applied-for [should that be "patent applied for"?] technology, with no loss of accuracy or detail.

* Migration from and co-existance with competitive systems uses imported 3D data without original parameters and features.
