Applied 3D Science Dissolves, Re-emerges

Applied 3D Science dissolved as a corporation back in March of this year. CEO Steve Mastrangelo formed a new company, A3DS, that purchased rights to the ParaLogix CAD foundation source code -- as well as the A3DS and ParaLogix trademarks.

A3DS now sells affordable ParaLogix source code licenses to companies that wish to build CAD, CAM, or CAE products for niche markets. End users can purchase EdgeCAM Part Modeler from Pathtrace, who now develops EdgeCAM Part Modeler.

Both A3DS and PathTrace continue to develop ParaLogix as a manufacturing-complementary feature-based parametric solids modeler.
